What care really covers
I build static websites: plain, pre-built pages with no database and no plugins. There is very little that can be hacked and almost nothing to patch, so I don't charge for "security scans" that aren't real work. You're paying for my time: fast edits, a working form, a domain that never lapses, and a Google listing with the right hours.
You own everything
Your domain and hosting account are in your name. I'm added as a member to do the work. Hosting on this setup has no monthly bill, and if you ever leave there is nothing to transfer and no export fee.
Questions
How long does a website take?
A Launch site is ready 7 business days after I have your words and photos. Business takes 2 to 3 weeks. The clock starts once the content is in, so I help you get it together fast.
Do I own my website?
Yes. Your domain and your hosting account are in your name from day one, and I work in them as a member. If we ever stop working together, nothing has to be handed over.
Can you work with my booking system?
Yes. I build in Fresha, Square, Vagaro, Jane, Mindbody and most others, so customers can book in one tap from their phone.
Do I need a care plan?
No. Your site keeps running without one. A plan means changes happen fast without an invoice each time, and someone notices if something breaks. Without a plan, changes are $90 an hour with a 30-minute minimum.
What counts as an edit?
Changing hours, prices, menus, staff, photos, holiday banners, promotions, or adding a short section to a page. Anything bigger, like a new page, I quote first.
Can I cancel care?
Yes. Plans are month to month and you can cancel any time. Your site, domain and accounts stay yours.
Do you meet in person?
Happy to. I am in Winnipeg and work with a lot of businesses in St. Vital and south Winnipeg. Calls and video work too.
